Waylead’s Participation in a Stakeholder Consultation Workshop

Waylead Company Ghana participated in a stakeholder consultation workshop organized by the Brew-Hammond Energy Centre, KNUST in partnership with the Climate Compatible Growth Network (CCG) on 19^th February 2025 at the Lancaster Hotel, Accra. The workshop, titled “Scaling Up Distributed Solar PV Adoption in Ghana: A Focus on the Commercial Sector,” brought together key players from the real estate and hospitality industries, Ministry of Energy, Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), and the Energy Commission to discuss the potential of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology in supporting Ghana’s ambitious goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2030.

The Workshop: A Collaborative Effort for a Greener Future

The workshop served as a platform for stakeholders to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with the adoption of solar PV systems, particularly in the commercial sector.
