On the 12th of August, the Ghanaian Community in Georgia in collaboration with the Ghana Council of Georgia organized a thrilling Ghana Fest. The involvement of the Waylead team, including our brand ambassador Okyeame Kwame, the Managing Director, and property consultants based in the United States, played a pivotal role in the event’s success. Ghana Fest was established to commemorate the culture and history of Ghana to children and families living in the diaspora. This event is meant to ingrain and heighten the unique Ghanaian cultural values into the lives of the diasporas and also to intensify connections between Ghanaians living outside and their roots in Africa, Ghana to be precise.

Ghana Fest is an exciting family fun day that showcases Ghanaian culture. The ceremony proved to be an exciting and enriching experience for attendees of all ages and backgrounds. The event not only showcased Ghanaian traditions, music, arts, crafts, and cuisine but also fostered a sense of community and belonging among the diasporas. Attractions during this event include live Ghanaian music performances, kids’ activities, fashion shows, networking, etc. In addition, vendors display and sell African arts and crafts.
